The owner of the store had placed a boot on a vehicle parked in the lot because, the owner told police, the vehicle been parked there for over half an hour. The owner of the vehicle said he had gone into the store and done some business there, but then had gone to another store to get a bottle of water, returning to find his vehicle booted.
