The man told police that he had received a call from his daughter who reported being contacted by the Atlanta Police Department. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Police were called to a boutique on Main Street late last Thursday afternoon where the shop owner said three teens had gone on a shoplifting spree, stealing several pieces of jewelry valued at a little over $200. When police arrived, two of the teens were still in the store, while the third was across the street. An officer escorted the teen who was outside the store back inside. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Sag Harbor Village Police, working with the New York State Police Department’s computer crimes unit, are investigating a series of false alarm 911 phone calls they have received over the past couple of months. Police dispatch received yet another one of these calls, termed “swatting,” last week. As was the case previously, the caller reported a man with a gun in the area of Main Street, who, the caller said, was holding a female hostage.
