The owner of the store had placed a boot on a vehicle parked in the lot because, the owner told police, the vehicle been parked there for over half an hour. The owner of the vehicle said he had gone into the store and done some business there, but then had gone to another store to get a bottle of water, returning to find his vehicle booted. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Village Police responded to a complaint that there was an unknown vehicle in a parking lot outside a Main Street address that had been there for several days. The officer sent to investigate the call found the vehicle, which had no license plates.
