Bonac Football Tops Hauppauge The East Hampton/Pierson/Bridgehampton football team improved its chances of reaching the Suffolk County Division III playoffs with a 20-7 victory at Hauppauge on Friday night. Alex Davis rushed for 77 yards on 18 carries and two touchdowns to lead the Bonackers. Theo Ball completed six of his 13 passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns. Charlie Stern added a 23-yard run. East Hampton is 4-3, currently seventh in Division III, and looks to wrap up one of the top eight spots and its first postseason berth since 2013 with a victory over Eastport-South Manor at home this ...

Pilco’s OT Goal Sends Bonac Boys Soccer to Playoffs The East Hampton boys soccer team went into its regular-season finale at home on Monday afternoon needing to defeat playoff-bound Hauppauge to clinch a Suffolk County Class AA postseason berth. Things weren’t looking promising to start, as the Bonackers faced a 2-0 deficit at halftime, and then a 3-1 deficit with 10 minutes remaining regulation.
